Our journey began back in 2009, when we first crossed paths in high school marching band—Brianna as part of the auxiliary team and Bretton on the drumline. We’d pass each other in the hallways, share classes, and even discovered we lived in the same neighborhood. Fate seemed to leave little clues along the way: Bretton's mom was Brianna's younger sister's elementary school teacher, a detail we love to believe was all part of destiny's plan. After high school, we went our separate ways, following our own paths. But life, with its beautiful twists, had other plans for us.

In August 2019, our love story truly began. At a high school rivalry game neither of us intended to attend, fate intervened once more. Bretton was just there by chance, and Brianna was only there to support her cousin. When Brianna spotted Bretton, she walked up and asked, “Do you remember me?” Of course, he did. That night, after catching up briefly, Bretton took a chance. He reached out to Brianna on Facebook, and they picked up right where they left off. Their first date at Pin Strikes was filled with laughter and conversation, ending with an eight-hour talk in the car about hopes, dreams, and the futures they each envisioned.

On April 26, 2024, Bretton asked Brianna to be his wife, and our story continues to unfold. We’re so grateful to you, our community, for all the love and support you've given us along the way. We can’t wait to celebrate our wedding with each of you soon!
